Schooling

1981-1984: First three years of High School at the Liceo Scientifico "A. Gramsci" in Florence.

1984-1986: Scholarship at the United World College of the Adriatic. This is an international College (more than 56 countries represented) accessible only to winners of a scholarship. Lessons and exams are entirely in English. Attainment of the International Baccalaureate.

February 1992: Degree in Economics at the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan with 110/110.

1994-1995:  Professional courses: Stock Exchange Advisor and Documentary Credits and Export Credits  at Centro di Formazione del Personale of Credito Italiano in Lesmo (Milano).

2000: Media training, press and television relationships crash-course at Hopscotch, Milano

Previous Working Experiences

1987-1990: Market research: interviewer, business contacts and market analysis for Doxa S.r.l. 

1990-1991: Book seller for the publishing house Giulio Einaudi Editore S.p.A.

1992 - 1994:  Formative periods at the advertising firm Mc Cann-Erickson Italiana S.p.A. and at BTP & P Associati, a PR company.

1994 - 1995: Employed by Credito Italiano in a special three year programme for top graduates.

1995 - 1997 : Employed by the Eurisko Group as a Market Researcher (quali-quantitative analysis) in the International Department of the firm.

1997-2000: Employed by the Norwegian Trade Council (Commercial Office of the Norwegian Embassy) as an International Business Consultant. Job description : conduction of market analysis for the feasibility of Norwegian exports in Italy (desk research, face to face interviews with knowledgeable actors, reporting was carried out in English). Business facilitator in the conduction of agreements between Norwegian companies and Italian counterparts, local representative of Norwegian firms, PR activities on behalf of Norwegian exporters with the local authorities and the press.

May 2000 – February 2001: Employed by Letsbuyit.com, an Internet company based in 14 countries. Country Manager, responsible for the operation of the Italian office.

Since April 2001: Free lance Market Researcher: design, conduction and presentation of qualitative market researches and BtoB desk researches. Client management (mostly international ones).
